Wow, we are already into the first week of June! History dictates that we be on our way to Connecticut. This will be a very different summer, we feel the loss in not going back. But we are consoled by the full calendar before us! School is over next week and then we will have one week to decompress before Ed heads to Atlanta for a work thing after a long visit with those we left behind in Asheville.
He will come back on July first, and his lovely sister Lisa will arrive the next day for a weeks stay, or more!
Three weeks to take a long camping trip around northern California as well as Oregon, and then Ed's mother will be here for a week.
A week and a half after that Mom and Dad come to stay for a week!
Ed will have some work days peppered in here and there.
Last weekend we went camping on the coast with our new friends and had such a great time. The pool here is now open and the promise of fabulous exploration of the area lies ahead!
Unbelievably this is the year that Niece Emily and my first born guinea pig child Aelish will graduate highschool and head into the next big chapter! Yowza! Can it really be?

Well crap, I can't believe it's been since Easter! So much has passed me by.
I will just try to write about what comes to mind presently. Our lease surprised us by coming to a close sooner than we thought. It was a 10 month not a 12. So we started looking for a place to move to as our rent was going up too much. We looked and looked and looked and looked! There was nothing that would keep Lydia in her school, we do not want to move her again until she goes to OES, and this is just too soon. We also had Ayla as a hindrance and the one car thing. Though Ed was pretty excited to start riding a bike to work. After stressing it all for a couple weeks, we decided yesterday to stay put for one more year, well 10 months. Chris and Matt were here last weekend.
School is almost out and we have plenty of visitors coming this summer! Though we will miss seeing everyone back home.  We already had our first camping trip to the Ape caves near Mt. St. Helens a couple weeks ago, and are getting up in the morning to go to Cape lookout state park on the coast:

Been a very lazy poster. Here are some pictures to make up for it. Some are a few weeks old. Easter was really nice, we had an  egg hunt with some friends in the woods we walk to school through. We all pass through them. Afterwards we went for a lunch gathering at Brynn and Adams house. It was wonderfully ethnic, home made and SO tasty! They are some really great folk.
